MPower payments was a payment service that worked with your preferred digital wallet or bank account to offer a convenient, safer and overall better payment experience. It offered a complete end-to-end online and mobile payment transactions solution geared at enabling consumers and businesses send, spend and receive payments in Ghana and from the rest of the world.

MPower was built and managed by a group of developers and entrepreneurs passionate about using mobile and web technology to drive social change from Ecodev Labs and SMS GH. MPower supported all popular payment forms at the time such as; Bank Debit Cards from Visa, MasterCard, Mobile Money, Internet Banking/Direct Deposit and SpeedBanking Cash Vouchers.

With MPower, users could easily buy airtime from their mobile phone, pay theirs regular bills from DStv, ECG and enjoy the freedom of transferring money to and from their MPower account. Android user could use the service from MPower Mobile or MPower POS applications from the Google Play Store.

Merchant who integrated with MPower payment enjoyed a nice, clean, graphical view of their finances at a click. With easy tools like Click2Pay and other programming interfaces available, MPower integration was pretty smooth without a sweat. MPower provides API integration for Ruby, PHP, .NET and Java.
